It was my freshman year and I had just got picked up from getting suspended for five days. It wasn't even ten minutes later my mom had got a call from my older sister Danielle. Danielle told my mom that she needed her to get to my sisters house right away because she had just find out that she was going to prison.So me and my mom had to go get my younger brother Nicholas from school and than head to Danielle's house.On our way to Danielle's house we were both scared and nerves at the same time.i can remember being in the car, crying and thinking that today was one of the worst days of my life.My mom had told me that Im the only that had to tell my sister that i had got suspended from five days. When we got close to Danielle's house we had to stop crying and be strong for my niece and my nephews. When we had got to my Danielle's house she was freaking out and she had everyone over at her house to giver her support. She was freaking out because she had to pack her whole house before she went away and without her husband.My mom had told my sister that I had something to tell her but I was scared to because i knew she had other things to worry about besides me. So I had finnaly told my sister that i had gotten suspended for five days for assualt.My sister was mad but she was more focused on other things.Danielle had told that my punishment was to stay at her house and help her pack the whole house. Those five days that i was suspended for were some of the hardest days of my life.I never imagined my sister going to prison for a year or so.I just wanted to cry but I knew I couldn't because i had promised my mom that i would stay strong for my sister and the kids. I had promised myself that I wouldnt follow my sister's footsteps. So a couple days later on December 15th, my sister had to turn herself in.I can remebercrying my eyes out on that day.there was no stopping me because it was just a surprising situation and it was kind of heart breaking.
From that day on I have changed my ways.I have stayed out of trouble because i don't want to end up in the same situation that my sister was in.
